Novartis Patient Services

If you have insurance and you've been prescribed a Novartis medicine, we can help guide you through the reimbursement process for certain Novartis oncology and specialty products shown below, which include medicines for cystic fibrosis, cancer, multiple sclerosis, and transplant, among others. Most programs offer valuable patient support services and some may even help if you cannot afford your out-of-pocket co-pay costs.

These programs include:

Novartis Patient Assistance NOW Oncology (PANO):


A Novartis Patient Assistance Program dedicated to helping eligible individuals determine if they qualify to receive Novartis Oncology medicines for less or free, as well as get help claiming insurance benefits.

Novartis Reimbursement Services (Transplant):


A Novartis call center that can determine what financial support and benefit coverage is available to eligible individuals in need of Novartis transplant medicines—whether insured or uninsured. The call center can:

  • Verify insurance benefits and investigate coverage
  • Assist with prior authorization and appeals if needed
  • Answer questions on other payer requirements specific to an individual's health policy
  • Provide co-pay and co-insurance assistance

Cosentyx® (secukinumab)

Cosentyx® Connect (Patient Support Program):


The Cosentyx Connect Personal Support Program provides assistance with treatment and investigates insurance coverage for Cosentyx. The program offers a range of helpful resources and services available whenever eligible individuals need them, including:

  • A Patient Services Liaison and support team who are available to answer questions and provide support
  • Step-by-step injection training
  • Investigation of final insurance coverage determination
  • Financial assistance, if eligible
  • Coordination of treatment delivery
  • Answers to questions about Cosentyx and the services the program provides

Extavia® (interferon beta-1b) injection

Gilenya® (fingolimod) capsules

The Gilenya Go Program is dedicated to helping eligible individuals learn more about starting with Gilenya and offers services to assist them with Gilenya treatment, such as:

  • Verifying insurance benefits and providing coverage information
  • Assisting with prior authorization and appeals, if required
  • Providing co-pay and co-insurance assistance
  • Offering motivation, helpful treatment reminders, and ongoing support

The Ilaris Support Program offers a full range of services to assist eligible individuals with Ilaris treatment, such as:

  • Contacting insurance companies
  • Verifying insurance benefits and investigation of coverage
  • Assisting with prior authorization and appeals, if needed
  • Providing co-pay and co-insurance assistance
  • Providing the option of having a home health nurse to assist with Ilaris treatment

PodCare+ is staffed with knowledgeable PodCare+ specialists and patient support liaisons who can:

  • Answer questions about insurance coverage and reimbursement
  • Offer prescription co-pay support
  • Help eligible individuals get started on treatment and answer administration questions
  • Provide resources to teach individuals how to use TOBI Podhaler
  • Provide ongoing support via the PodCare+ patient support liaison outreach program
